My name is Paul Miller, and Grey Venice is my music studio.
I graduated from the Seattle University Albers School of Business and Economics in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree, and although business has become a hobby, music is my true love.
I am a classically trained choral vocalist – a lyric baritone, though my voice ranges from bass to tenor. I also studied adult contemporary voice under Susan Carr (Alice In Chains, The Presidents of the USA, Minus The Bear, & more) in Seattle. Choir has provided an opportunity for me to travel and perform with choral groups in cathedrals in Dublin and Rome over the years.
I studied and played both trombone and euphonium in wind ensemble from grade 6-12, which I credit to really planting a love of musical composition into my mind, and an appreciation for all of the complex and simple structures that come together so a story can be told through music. I constantly analyze and deconstruct music to determine why I like it, and sometimes I cannot turn this part of my brain off.
